2013 Roundup

2013 was a great year.  I think I did the best I could and am happy with my accomplishments.  Spending time with friends and family is always a priority and I did really well with my visiting log.  I even managed to visit with people I haven’t seen in a long time.

We went on an actual vacation which was very exciting (albeit stressful at times).

Although my motivation waned as the weather got colder I continue to maintain a respectable workout routine.  Now that my motivation is back I hope to get into great shape again.  I LOVE that I’ve started to run!

I’m reading more and am excited to continue with both my International Literary Project and my Roosevelt research.  I also want to tack on the keyboard and Spanish to get my brain cells moving.

Financially, we made a lot of progress. Actually, I think it’s the only progress I’ve been able to make for quite a while.  I know that area of our life will continue to get better.  And hopefully I’ll find a new job very soon.

Our first year of marriage was good. It’s never easy but I think we did well.  We’re definitely learning a lot and growing together and that’s fun. We’ve known each other for 10 years now and will having been “dating” for 5 years in April!

My biggest accomplishment of the year is definitely all the home decorating we did.  I learned that I have the ability to create things and I get so much peace of mind from having a finished and clean house.

So long 2013 and bring it on 2014!
