Pinterest meets Google Reader

This weeks edition of Model D introduced me to Canopi.  It’s a start up company that recently relocated to Detroit.  I signed up and poked around.  It’s layout is similar to Pinterest (ascetically pleasing tiles that link to more information) and it functions as Google Reader (you can link to your favorite blogs and monitor your feed for updates).  Considering Google Reader will no longer exists, Canopi  should have an edge on that market.

I’m always happy to hear of a new company moving to the city and I hope they find lots of success!
