Happy Friday!

Some wise words from Amy Poehler that stick with me this first week after my job.  I’ve never been good at doing things I’m not ready for.  For the most part I avoid it at all costs.  I don’t believe in regrets but my #1 regret in life is not taking AP English or Government in high school and not taking the AP History test.  It was my preference to take the safe path where I knew I’d get an A rather than take a risk and learn more.  This decision to play it safe has haunted me for years and encourages small acts of bravery.  Generally, I prefer security over overt success but that’s changing.  I’m more ambitious that I used to admit.  I want to do great things and take chances.  In short this is my 2015 resolution.

It would seem that I’m living an eternal weekend at the moment but the reality is I’m pretty busy.  Today I’m heading to Monroe to visit Sheila and her boys.  I can’t wait to catch up with her.  Tonight is Lindsey’s birthday and we’re celebrating at Painting with a Twist.  Tomorrow I am waking up early to go see The Theory of Everything because I’m awful at seeing movies!  Sunday Danny and I are going to Detroit Soup and I’m really looking forward to checking it out.

P.S. The funniest thing you’ll see all week
