I could use some inspiring words this Thursday. Daylight Savings continues to be struggle and I’m anxiously awaiting an early morning sun. In the meantime, I have managed to use my other waking hours productively.
Yesterday I went to MEP to visit Melanie and the girls. They’re doing well and getting ready for college. I’m VERY proud of them but I also can’t help but worry. Teenagers have too much confidence for too little experience. I think of all the things I thought I knew when I was their age and I try to warn them against the danger of not heading others’ advice. Not surprisingly, they don’t listen. The good news is they will learn. Everyone does. I already know there are decisions I’m making now that I will probably laugh about later but that’s okay. Life is a process.
