Here are a few of my favorite things from 2017:
Show: Young Sheldon, I was really skeptical of the Big Bang prequel but it’s perfect. Also I had NO IDEA Zoe Perry is Laurie Metcalf’s daughter – mind blown!!!
Restaurant: This is tough because I love Stache but since I never blogged about Parks & Rec I’ll post about it here. The tiny diner is worth the long wait. The food is delicious, I love the cozy vibes and it’s across the street from Beacon Park so the perfect outing for warmer months.
Book: Founding Brothers should be required reading for all Americans. It gives great insight and perspective of the country we live in.
Newsmaker: Since I’m so out of the gossip loop this Meghan Markle news really surprised me. Kate is still my favorite style icon but I saw pictures of Meghan as a kid and her hair looked liked mine! I’ve seen no frizz while she’s been in England so I have new found hope and am trying out a keratin treatment. Hopefully it works! I also find Meghan inspiring because she’s 36 – which gives me a longer benchmark to get to where I want to be.
