My recipe of the week was Scallion Meatballs with Soy-Ginger Glaze from Smitten Kitchen. I served it with Jasmine rice and broccoli to make the suggested appetizer a meal. It was easy to make; however, I’m not sure my glaze was as thick as it was meant to be (perhaps I’d sneak in a thickener next time). My meatballs definitely weren’t as beautiful as those pictured (they looked more like pyramids) but they were delicious. Danny liked them too so I will keep the recipe on hand for a future cocktail party.
