It’s hard to believe Christmas is only days away! Where does the year go? Here a few things I’m enjoying/admiring these days.
Maroon 5 is hands down my favorite band and while my attention is inevitably focused on Adam Levine, I heard PJ Morton had a Christmas album on NPR and will be playing it around the house this weekend.

I picked up a book on Lafayette and it was interesting. I hadn’t read a Sarah Vowell book before but my OB nurse suggests I read her other work when she saw I was reading this one. It’s a quick, snarky read that as much about America and it’s ongoing political struggles as it is about Lafayette himself. However, if you like Drunk History and want an easy read, it doesn’t take long to finish and it’s informative.
I’ll be sharing more recipes in the future but this One Pot Cheesy Chicken Broccoli and Rice Casserole was really popular around here.
