I rather thought my blogging days were behind me but here we are. I actually love having this space to look back on so now that I’m kinda going back in life, I want to continue to chronicle my little guys. The world has changed dramatically since my last post but we’ll focus on the personal changes – our BIG surprise of 2025
- How far along? 28 weeks
- Total weight gain/loss: 28lbs at my last appointment – given I got down to 140 this summer, it’s been a painful experience but I work out most days and hope that I can keep my mind and body post baby.
- Maternity clothes? Yes but mostly same clothes on repeat, I’m trying to avoid a one-use wardrobe
- Stretch marks? Yes but not too noticeable yet
- Sleep: Mostly fine, I don’t have to get up too many times at night. The hardest part is getting comfortable on my side and inevitably having a cuddle buddy in Sam or Lucas next to me.
- Best moment to date: Taking the kids (Gwenny included) to an ultrasound at Schoolcraft. They’re so excited and it makes the surprise element so much easier.
- Miss Anything? Bodily autonomy
- Movement: He’s hit or miss but moves consistently enough. The boys want to feel him move all the time and love to use him like a Magic 8 Ball
- Food cravings: I went through a Jimmy John’s phase, I’m eating way too many carmel Drumsticks but I wouldn’t call anything a real craving.
- Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.
- Have you started to show yet: Yes and it’s a talking point everywhere because apparently some people didn’t know.
- Gender: Boy – Noah Daniel
- Looking forward to: Knowing more, I guess. Knowing that he’s healthy, knowing that I can figure out how to balance work and baby again. Right now the unknown is killing me.
