I kept out of the election this year. I thought my heart was out of it. I was wrong. I couldn’t keep away all night. And it was more than fear that Mitt would win even though I dislike him because he only wants to be President for the title. No for me it was about race. A one-term black president it a fluke and a failure. A two-term black president is change. It’s the knowledge that I can tell at least my future son that he can be elected president one day and to me that’s everything.
