Currently, I’m living the life of a girl on a budget aka homebound. With that preface, I do have blog adventures in the works but not this week. Instead I’ll participate in a blogger staple and life update.
Watching Television sitcoms: Brooklyn 99 (still my favorite), Big Bang Theory (definitely interested in what’s going on with Shamy), Modern Family & Blackish (Danny actually enjoys this one as much as I do). I’m also watching LOTS of football – Danny and I are having fun competing with weekly NFL picks and I endure Once Upon A Time for Gina.
Reading I honestly have been spending a fair amount of time reading. This weekend I finished The Dream Lover a novel about George Sand/Aurore Dupin. I didn’t love it but it was an ok read. I’m currently reading a novel I enjoy much more, Everybody Rise by Stephanie Clifford. It’s compared to Edith Wharton novels and I can see the similarities. Since her novels don’t end well, I’m anxious to see where this goes.
Listening Valenti & Foster. I seriously love some sports talk radio. I carry a radio around with me if I’m home and occasionally listen online at work if there was a big sport events.
Drinking Tazo boxed chai highly diluted with skim milk. It’s nice to be able to tolerate a little caffeine boost again.
Learning Is it weird to miss being part of the ‘back-to-school’ routine? I haven’t been in school for a very long time I doubt I could handle it but I am enjoying a little professional enrichment with a free Hootsuite Social Media course.
Planning to get back into a gym routine. I went last night and it felt refreshing. I’m sure my body is going to hurt tomorrow because I’m pathetically out of shape but that’s always the first step.
Wishing this weekend were over already since I have to work and have plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks – especially our anniversary dinner!
