I’m not usually a big Valentine’s Day person but February feels extra special now and, inspired by one of my favorite bloggers, I want to make the holidays extra special. Still budget conscious, I limited my spending to Target’s ‘dollar’ section. Like most people I’m easily suckered by the fancy display that greets you at the entrance.
I also want make our house festive because we invited all the nieces and nephews (14) over for a sleepover Valentine’s Day weekend. We did it a few years ago and it was a lot of fun. Everyone is growing up so quickly, this is probably our last chance to get (almost – Jonathan is 19 and in college so I doubt he’ll come) everyone together.
I have fun but low-key party plans and can’t wait to celebrate next week!
