#100HappyDays

I’m all about happiness.  It’s not always easy to be happy.  However, I believe it’s a choice and that if you chose to view things positively happiness will come.  As a person who can suffer from blue periods I know it’s not always easy to do but it is worth it.  Currently, I’m very happy with life.  Nothing particularly notable is going on but consistency and monotony can be good things.

This weekend Kat came over and we had a deliciously glutenous gabfest with sophisticated cocktails and watched Nebraska.  It was a great time and I’m glad we were able to have a girls night.  Saturday, Danny and I went ice skating and ran errands.  I managed to make it to the gym both Saturday and Sunday – something that makes me happy.  Sunday we stayed close to the couch, watched SNL and the Oscars.

When I woke up Sunday morning and checked Facebook (something that doesn’t make me happy) I saw Kat posted about happiness.  When I actually woke up and read about the challenge I immediately signed up.  For the next 100 days I’ll be posting a picture on Facebook of something that makes me happy.  I’ll recap here quarterly.  It’s important to think about and remember the good things and I hope others do it too.

  1. I'm glad you're doing it too! I feel the same way, in the sense that I'm pretty happy with my life right now…but it's just nice to remind myself daily of the thing that make me happy. It helps me to appreciate my life even more 🙂 And yeah, I had a blast Friday night too!!
